    The Church Divinity School of the Pacific is a graduate theological seminary and center of theological study of the Episcopal church, and is a founding member of the ecumenical Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California.

    Our MISSION is to provide the highest quality Christian theological education in an environment of scholarship, reflection and worship, rooted in the Anglican tradition.

    In pursuing our Mission, we are committed to:

    • Providing academic excellence in lifelong theological education.
    • Preparing people for leadership in lay and ordained ministries in service of the Gospel.
    • Encouraging spiritual growth in all aspects of community life.
    • Preserving and renewing the heritage of Anglican worship.
    • Maintaining a faculty of teacher-scholars whose work will benefit the larger community of faith.
    • Developing additional modes and sites of instruction, including partnerships with other church institutions.
    • Being an active and vital member of the Graduate Theological Union.
    • Finding ways to reintegrate the arts and theological education.
    • Honoring more adequately the richness of God's creation, especially recognizing the diversity of God's people.

    The Church Divinity School of the Pacific is the official seminary of the Province of the Pacific of the Episcopal Church.

    Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership

    Through the Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership (CALL), CDSP acknowledges its partnership with the wider Church in addressing issues that confront the Church today. CALL offers on-campus classes, forums, conferences, and online programs through the Internet.
