Center For Anglican
Learning & Leadership
  • Overview
  • Welcome to the Center for Anglican Learning & Leadership! For more than a decade, CALL has been creating opportunities for continuing theological education, spiritual enrichment, ministry development, and congregational vitality through a variety of online and onsite programs. As the Director of CALL, I am deeply moved by the conversations that our many programs facilitate and the relationships, partnerships, and collaborations that take root and grow as all sorts of people come together through CALL. It is a remarkable privilege to have the opportunity to share the extensive academic and pastoral resources of the CDSP community with a diverse network of committed lay and ordained learners, leaders, and ministers within the church and far beyond. We are all grateful that you have joined in the conversation.

For those of you who have participated in the CALL programs before, welcome back! If you are a newcomer to CALL, you are very welcome to this vibrant learning community! In the coming weeks and months, you will see more new growth at CALL, as we work to integrate online and onsite learning, to expand our certificate programs for practical ministries in church and community, deepen opportunities for spiritual enrichment, and reflect all this growth on our website.

Our aim is to make CALL a center for lifelong learning, engagement, and community. Whether you visit our Easton Hall Conference Center in the beautiful Berkeley hills for a weekend retreat or week-long course, participate in a event such as our annual Epiphany West conference, take an online course, or complete one of our certificate programs, we hope you will see CALL as your community. CALL is a place where your vocational, spiritual, and professional development is connected to the needs of the church and the wider world through active engagement with other learners across the county and around the globe.

Again, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Center for Anglican Learning & Leadership.

    Blessings,

    Elizabeth Drescher, Ph.D.
Director, Center for Anglican Learning & Leadership
